New Things!

There are many new and exciting things happening for me this week!!!
Nov 14-18 is anti-bullying week and I am so excited to have partnered with the Waterloo District Police
to bring my anti-bullying talks to elementary and highschools in the Waterloo Region! Many kids have come
forward at these schools to share their stories with me and I hope that learning from my story and the stories
from those in their classes will help everyone know that they are not alone and that someone is there to always
talk to them if they need someone to listen. These kids are changing my life as well with there stories and strength
and I know if will make a difference in my writing and singing from now forward.
Do you ever feel like so many things in your life lead up to a moment? Thats how I feel about speaking in schools. I look back on my life and everything I’ve gone through and everything I’ve accomplished and I feel like it has all prepared me to talk at these schools, to understand what the kids there are going through.
